"Oxley Downs" is situated on an alternative route between Dubbo and Orange so call in on your past when visiting the Western Plains Zoo from Sydney. Directions: From Dubbo: 35 km past the Western Plains Zoo entrance on the Yeoval / Obley Rd Turn left at Paddy's Creek Rd Follow the signs to “Oxley Downs” - 7 kms From Orange/Sydney: Travel to Molong. On the Wellington side of Molong turn left to Cumnock and Yeoval. Proceed straight through Cumnock and Yeoval. 30 km from Yeoval on the Dubbo / Obley Rd Turn right at Paddy's Creek Rd Follow the signs to “Oxley Downs” – 7 kms
"Oxley Downs" has been built in an isolated area to replicate the life of 1861. It is serviced by dirt tracks which are negotiable by the average vehicle.
